Still recovering from the devastation brought by TYPHOON HAIYAN on November 3, 2013, locally known as super typhoon YOLANDA, one of the most intense tropical cyclone on record with sustained wind at 285 km/h. There are 6,239 persons confirmed dead, 1074 missing and the cost of damaged is around 3B US$.
This date, another typhoon named Rammasun, locally named as GLENDA hit the Philippines that initially started only with 85 km/h and continue to develop into another super typhoon of 165km/hr. I was in the job site at Alabang, Muntinlupa when the storm passes through Metro Manila and I personally witness and video taped its sudden sweep of destruction.
I was constructing a car showroom and dealership building in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. You can see from the pictures those installed red aluminum louvers at the rear right side already fixed with anchor bolts and screws. Watched how Glenda's strong wind will make it's way through those louvers and literally damaged them.
