Getting There

| From our take-off point in Angeles City, Pampanga, it takes around 2 hours to reach our destination in Joyful Beach Resort Morong, Bataan, by car. |
At Subic Bay, Zambalez
Along the way, we passed by Subic Bay, the former location of Subic Naval Base of the US Navy. It was abandoned in 1991 when Mount Pinatubo Volcano erupted in the province of Zambales. When traveling this way, you can see some of the former military base structures that were renovated and are still utilized today.

Subic Bay International Airport is a secondary and diversion airport for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Metro Manila and Clark International Airport in Pampanga. It also serves the immediate area of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, the provinces of Bataan and Zambales, and the general area of Olongapo City in the Philippines. The airport was known as the Naval Air Station Cubi Point, part of the Subic Naval Base of the United States Navy before its closure. |
