I'm EDMAR your friendly architect/master plumber from the Philippines. I've been in the construction industry for almost 20 years now and I find this field really, really exciting. Whether I'm in the city working on a skyscraper, in a faraway countryside doing schools or hospitals or some unusual projects like building a women's cell for a district jail, a footbridge along a bustling thoroughfare, or cleaning a clogged septic tank, the feeling of intense excitement of accomplishing these tasks runs in my blood.

I'm turning 40 this November (that old ha!) and since I've been keeping journals during my college days, I thought of creating a blog - a construction and travel inspiration journal. I can share my day-to-day experience and knowledge about building construction education here. I can discuss your materials, construction methods, and techniques in their simplest forms. I can feature construction professionals and likewise construction workers worth recognizing for their efforts and contributions to the growth of the industry together with the suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and the like.

Also, my job requires me to travel a lot. I get to see new places, meet local people, eat a lot of street foods, and introduce myself to a new culture. The combination of construction and traveling is like a marriage of a husband and wife.
