MABUHAY!
This is a photo and video journal of our day 2 budget travel to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our travel itinerary includes our early morning stroll around the river esplanade and our breakfast in Co Phu Nhuan wet and dry market.
A STROLL AROUND NHIE LOC CHANNEL RIVER ESPLANADE
The Nhie Loc Channel is a tributary of Saigon River. This river channel runs through district 2 in Ho Chi Minh City to where our accommodation is located. An early morning stroll to this magnificently landscaped river esplanade will definitely give you positive vibes and a breeze of fresh air. How I wish that the Pasig River in the heart of Metro Manila is same as this.

SUNDAY MORNING FISHING TIME
The peaceful and calm Sunday morning is perfect for relaxation. Local folks hang out in this river channel while attending to their fishing rods.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Another important feature of the river esplanade is being a venue for health and wellness of the locals around the vicinity. You can jog, stroll, or use some free exercise equipment installed around the esplanade.

ROAMING AROUND CO PHU NHUAN MARKET
When we travel to a foreign country, we always include in our itinerary a visit to the wet and dry public market. They say the market is the pulse of the community. Marketplaces in Ho Chi Minh City are very lively filled with mostly female shoppers. The language difference is the biggest challenge when buying something.
