MAGELLAN'S CROSS
This is the site where the Portuguese and Spanish explorers, under the command of Ferdinand Magellan, planted the Christian cross when they arrived on the island of Cebu on April 21, 1521. This day marks the beginning of the Christianization of the Philippines.
