MABUHAY!
Traveling the dirt road, you'd be lucky if you see another vehicle-even motorcycle or tricycle pass through this route for another 8 to 24 hours. This is how I remember the rough road leading to the mountain resort at Real, Quezon owned by my former employer. This is supposed to be another one of those team-building activities with my office mates and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable nature tripping that I really enjoyed.

When we arrived, the only sound I hear is the cheerful sounds of birds singing because the place is so isolated and very far from the noise of the daily traffic scene in
Metro Manila. Our cell phones don't have a signal also.

TREE PLANTING ACTIVITIES
We planted at least 100 seedlings of mahogany trees. This place used to be a lush green landscape of canopy trees. The residents here cut the mature trees and sold them as lumber. When the trees were all gone, they sold their right of ownership of the land.

HEADING FOR THE WATERFALLS
The morning was still chilly and the dim sunlight lit our way as we trek the narrow footpath. My heart beat faster as I hear the gushing sound of water. Then behold, one of the most beautiful sights I've seen in nature, a waterfall so cool and so refreshing that I immediately splash my whole body into it.

I would like to share this journal with my dear friend Rodvic-who taught me how to drive, Tiger, Engr. Boyong (RIP), Foreman Gilbert (I was surprised we are now working in the same company, we met again after 12 years), Bossing RSP, and those that are with us in this great
travel adventure (sorry guys, I already forgot your names, it's been a long time)
