LAPU-LAPU SHRINE

In honor of Lapu-Lapu's heroism, a bronze statue was erected in this parcel of land in Mactan, which is also a very famous park and landmark here in Cebu. He was the first native with written records to defy the colonialism of Spain that later lasted for 333 years.

PHILIPPINE TAOIST TEMPLE
Address: Beverly Hills, Cebu City, Cebu
The Philippine Taoist Temple, also known as Cebu Taoist  Temple, is built in 1972 by Cebu's Chinese community. This temple is a classic example of traditional Chinese architecture. The architectural ornaments found in this building make it distinct to other types of architectural motifs and makes it uniquely Chinese.

TEMPLE OF LEAH
Address: Cebu Transcentral Hwy, Cebu City, Cebu
Dubbed as the Taj Mahal of the Philippines, this mausoleum was constructed by Teodorico S Adarna as a monument attesting to his undying love for his wife Leah Villa Albino - Adarna.

VIRGEN DE LA REGLA PARISH
Address: B.M. Dimataga St, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu
Our company was invited by the parish priest to check out his proposed renovation of the devotees' prayer area. Then I learned that the modern church building which houses the image of the canonized Virgen De Regla - Patroness of the Rule, is only a reconstruction of the original house of worship build in 1700.

This is a cable-stayed bridge connecting Lapu-Lapu City in the island of Mactan and Mandaue City. It was temporarily named Consolacion Bridge after the Municipality of Consolation. Later it was named Marcelo H. Fernan Bridge after the only Filipino from Cebu who had served both as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and Senate President of the Philippines.
