July 8-9, 2019
Mabuhay!

This is a photo and video journal of days 6 to 7 of a DIY budget travel to Israel featuring our long trip back home from Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV), Tel Aviv to Sabiha Gรถkรงen International Airport (SAW), Istanbul to Dubai International Airport (DXB), UAE, and back to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL), Manila, Philippines.
Strolling around Tel Aviv
After checking out from our accommodation, we strolled towards the Tel Aviv Central bus station for a train ride to Ben Gurion International Airport.

The train station is not that crowded during our departure date.

Ben Gurion International Airport

The airport was named after David Ben-Gurion, the primary leader for the establishment of the nation of Israel and he became also the first Prime Minister.

Our plane, Pegasus Airline going to Istanbul is just right on time.

Our plane tickets are from Pegasus Airlines.

Sabiha Gรถkรงen International Airport, Istanbul, Turkey

Located in the Asian part of Istanbul, Turkey, the airport was named after Sabiha Gokcen, recognized as the first female fighter pilot in the world at the age of 23 years old.

To DXB Dubai, United Arab Emirates
There is a long wait for our connecting flight from Dubai to Manila. We waited around 24 hours. We slept in the sofa seats of the DXB airport lounge. We had our breakfast, lunch & dinner there. We converse with some passengers. We also roamed around the airport to familiarize ourselves. By the way, DXB airport staff are mostly Filipinos.

From Sabiha Gokcen International Airport we traveled for more than 5 hours via Pegasus Airlines bound to Dubai International Airport.
