MABUHAY!
This is a photo and video journal of our budget travel to Singapore featuring our tour around Changi Airport before heading back to the Philippines.
AIRPORT LAYOUT
Changi Airport is a destination by itself in Singapore. Open on July 1, 1981, it is one of the largest transportation hubs in Southeast Asia. For six consecutive years now since 2013, Changi Airport is rated as the Best Airport in the World by Skytrax. Our flight is in Terminal 1.
The city of Singapore is connected by train system either by subway or sky train. That is why the MRT and LRT is the most popular mode of transportation. When riding a train or public bus, you can buy an EZ link card in every station. But your ride is limited depending on the balance amount of your card. A great way to enjoy a road trip or train ride in Singapore without thinking of paying in every station is the tourist pass ticket. It is an unlimited ride for trains and buses available for 1 day, 2 days and 3 days. You can purchase the ticket in selected train stations or buy online. Click the link Singapore Tourist Pass to purchase online.

ARRIVAL IN NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL 1
Before checking in on our flight back home to the Philippines, I took a video of these round metallic objects that move gracefully up and down in an elaborate pattern. This is the KINETIC RAIN, a moving sculpture that has 608 copper cladded raindrops. It is believed to be the biggest of its kind in the world. It can only be found in CHANGI AIRPORT, SINGAPORE.
