ANGKOR TEMPLE COMPLEX MAP
The Angkor Temple complex is built over 400 sq. km of land area within the span of 7 centuries. It is the largest religious monument in the world.

Blow up detail of Angkor Thom
Angkor Thom is not a temple, which is a very common misconception. As the name implies, Angkor meaning "city" and Thom meaning "big".

THE ROYAL PALACE & PHIMEANAKAS
The Royal Palace was built by King Suryavarman I and it was used from 11 to 16 century AD. It was transformed and restored several times. Since this is not a religious building, it was constructed mainly of perishable materials.

This bungalow houses a gallery of pictures documenting the restoration effort done in the Royal Palace.
